Today is "FEEDBACK FRIDAY", meaning I deal with emails that my assistant Stephanie and I receive from readers regarding our most recent blogs... Let's get right to your feedback... Yesterday's blog, reassuring readers that there will be a brand new Big Stick album released in the Spring of 2018 caused quite a reaction. Sara from Maple Valley, WA wrote, "My teenage sons love your old records that I grew up listening to in the 80s and 90s. We're anxiously waiting for your new one. Please hurry up and get it out!"...  Wednesday's TALES OF THE PHANTOM RACER serial series resulted in lots of you writing in. Basil from all the way in Ostrava, Czechoslovakia said, "Freaky Frostbite and the Below Zero Boys darkside drag racers must be completely defeated and destroyed forever." -- Once again Gary from Wellington, OH wrote in, "I'm sorry, but Maria's back up girl outfit of a parka jacket and hot pants sounds like a wardrobe mismatch to me."... My State of the Union address, calling for the preservation of E'Town's history prompted Edmond from Piscataway, NJ to write, "Drag Racing Underground better put your videos up on a server or save them somehow for future generations. If all those Raceway Park memories are forgotten it would be a crime."-- On the other side of the opinion fence, a nasty Matt from Valinda CA said, "Who cares about east coat drag racing history? Don't you know drag racing started in sunny California?"...  My blog paying respects to recently departed Drag Racing Underground friend Jimmy Balogh inspired Dan from Monroe, NJ to say, "I remember when Doc introduced me to Jimmy at The Digs. I'm so sorry for your loss."... Our so-called "SUNDAY FUNNIES THAT AREN'T NECESSARILY THAT FUNNY AT ALL" managed to get Margie from Park Hill, OK in a bit of an angry frenzy, she typed, "What Marvin calls fun is proof he's a failure of a man."... My BEST OF E'TOWN'S THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES installment featuring the Nunzi's Automotive classic "Immortal Indian" Catalina caused Salvatore from Brooklyn, NY to say, "I love the old Pontiacs. Keep them coming."-- Mike from Delaware, OH chimed in, "You say in your article that the Nunzi car is a 1963 Catalina. I think you're wrong and that it's actually a 1962 model."... Thanks to all of you who wrote in with comments. Even though there's no way we have room to print all your emails, we want you to know that all your comments and suggestions are taken into consideration... Keep those emails comin' (by using the "Contact Us" link atop the page), whether you agree or disagree with mine, or any of our substitute guest bloggers' opinions, we're genuinely interested in your feedback... We just ask that you please keep your emails short and to the point, no rambling please, and please also include where you're from, we often find the location of where folks are writing us from to be sort of interesting. If you want to remain anonymous you can do that too (just write that you want to remain anonymous in the body of your email, and we won't disclose your identity in the event we choose to make a reference to your particular opinion)... Thanks...
