Today is "FEEDBACK FRIDAY", meaning I deal with emails that my assistant Stephanie and I receive from readers regarding our most recent blogs... Let's get right to your feedback... Yesterday's blog bringing attention to the "Presidential Burndown" that's currently happening on the drag racing internet (especially on the new, hipster facebook format), that's causing heated hate-speech between drag fans who support Donald Trump and those who do not, prompted so many of you to write. Sal from Venice, CA said, "I refuse to sit by any yellow belly at the drag strip who doesn't support our new commander in chief. If you think that makes me a bigot and a bully. So be it! I don't give a ****!"-- On the other side of the opinion fence, Jane from Yakima, WA wrote, "I never knew that so many of my now former drag racing friends could be so nasty when it comes to politics. I just resigned from facebook. Doc's right. It is a disgraceful bloodbath for the entire drag racing internet community."... Wednesday's TALES OF THE PHANTOM RACER serial series resulted in lots of you writing in. Adrian from all the way in Birmingham, England said, "I understand the Heavenly Drag Racing Association's need to cover up the bribing incident, or else the risk of extortion from the darkside will become an ongoing problem."-- Once again Gary from Wellington, OH wrote in, "I'm in agreement with Fred The Wrench. I want to see the team get back to competition!"-- Thanks to all of you Phantom Racer fans who wrote in this week... My blog encouraging people to make plans to attend the E'Town Summernationals scheduled for June 8-11 caused Louis from Clifton, NJ to chime in, "Thanks for the heads up. I'll be purchasing my family's tickets for the Summernationals very soon!"... My blog asking readers if they'd like to see Franky & Felicia return to do their NHRA predictions this season, or have them replaced by Mike & Barbara, brought on lots of mixed opinions. Tina from Narragansett, RI wrote, "Don't get rid of Franky & Felicia. They're like comic relief in the humdrum drag racing world!"-- On the other side of the opinion fence, Ethan from Leesborg, GA said, "Please give Mike & Barbara a chance. Anyone has to be better than Franky & Felicia!"... My blog recommending Camillo's Italian Restaurant in Sayreville, NJ, inspired Jerry from East Brunswick NJ to say, "I tried Camillo's for the first time. You bet I'll be going back! Thanks to Doc for the great tip!"... My blog expressing concern for the victims of the recent Fort Lauderdale terrorist attack caused Samantha from Cooper City, FL to write, "Bless the Doc for her sentiments."... Thanks to all of you who wrote in with comments. Even though there's no way we have room to print all your emails, we want you to know that all your comments and suggestions are taken into consideration... Keep those emails comin' (by using the "Contact Us" link atop the page), whether you agree or disagree with mine, or any of our substitute guest bloggers' opinions, we're genuinely interested in your feedback... We just ask that you please keep your emails short and to the point, no rambling please, and please also include where you're from, we often find the location of where folks are writing us from to be sort of interesting. If you want to remain anonymous you can do that too (just write that you want to remain anonymous in the body of your email, and we won't disclose your identity in the event we choose to make a reference to your particular opinion)... Thanks...

It's "FEEDBACK FRIDAY" here at DRAG RACING UNDERGROUND. That means I print excerpts from some of the emails that you readers write in with. I always appreciate you folks who sit down at your keyboard and type me your thoughts and opinions.
