Today is "FEEDBACK FRIDAY", meaning I deal with emails that my assistant Stephanie and I receive from readers regarding our most recent blogs... Let's get right to your feedback... Yesterday's blog thanking all our customers who ordered Drag Racing Underground dvds for Christmas and Hanukkah presents caused Bethany from Covina, CA  to say, "Giving your excellent Drag Racing Underground dvds for holiday presents is a no-brainer for me! You help cover almost half of the people I give to at Christmas!"... The temporary suspension of Wednesday's TALES OF THE PHANTOM RACER serial series resulted in lots of you writing in. Our special Christmas edition of the saga caused an uproar among some, due to Larry Lamb straying from his usual high moral and ethical code, and paying a bribe to crooked international dignitary, Druscula Fusscula, to save the sport of drag racing from being abolished. Darlia from all the way in Carstenz, New Guinea said, "I believe that temporarily suspending the PHANTOM RACER series was a mistake. People need to get over themselves."-- Chester from Long Island, NY wrote, "Paying politicians bribes, no matter what the circumstances is wrong. I will no longer read your series even when it does return."-- Once again Gary from Wellington, OH wrote in, "I hope your writers can come to an agreement concerning the future direction of the series. I'm going through withdraw from missing just one ******* episode!"-- Thanks to all of you Phantom Racer fans who wrote in this week... My blog encouraging people to be thankful for all the race teams who entertain us at the drag strip prompted Jerry from Eton, GA to say,  "Doc is right. Running a race car is a tiresome chore. Racers do deserve our appreciation."-- My blog featuring a Christmassy color pencil drawing I did when I as ten years old resulted in Melanie from Park Hill, OK writing, "Doc's Santa and reindeer drawing is the sweetest thing I've ever seen!"... My blog featuring DRU's most reluctant member, John Gill's, illustration from a deep-space parallel drag racing Christmas universe caused Carole from Jacksboro, TN to say, "The little kid in the firesuit cracked me and my husband up!"... Substitute Stephanie's season greetings blog, featuring a photo of her and yours truly wearing Santa hats sure received an ample number of responses. Louie from Clifton, NJ wrote, "I remember meeting Doc and Stephanie at Island Dragway. They were both laughing it up just like they are in the picture. I think they are both super cuties!"... Thanks to all of you who wrote in with comments. Even though there's no way we have room to print all your emails, we want you to know that all your comments and suggestions are taken into consideration... Keep those emails comin' (by using the "Contact Us" link atop the page), whether you agree or disagree with mine, or any of our substitute guest bloggers' opinions, we're genuinely interested in your feedback... We just ask that you please keep your emails short and to the point, no rambling please, and please also include where you're from, we often find the location of where folks are writing us from to be sort of interesting. If you want to remain anonymous you can do that too (just write that you want to remain anonymous in the body of your email, and we won't disclose your identity in the event we choose to make a reference to your particular opinion)... Thanks...
